Life is lived in the moment. Jose Fernandez personified this mantra, and the pure joy he exuded when on the mound, in the batters’ box, in the dugout, and everywhere in-between. So many great articles and tributes have been made to Fernandez in the wake of his tragic death, and I simply want to add a deep, heartfelt “Thank You” for everything he gave in such a short period of time…
The Field of Dreams has it’s new ace, and W.P. is even there to witness…
RIP Jose

Or… What was Alex Rodriguez (25:35)? When will the Empire Be Great Again (39:25)?

Cuba has long had a passion for baseball that rivals, even surpasses that of the United States. Coach and I walk through the beautiful, often volatile history of baseball in Cuba, how the game has evolved in the country, the dangers of players escaping to the Majors, and how today’s game embraces the Latin style of play.
