All Things Chicago White Sox (9/17/18) – Podcast

Audio

Tucker is joined by good friend, filmmaker and Chicago homer Scott Brown to talk about his beloved White Sox. Scott shares what makes a person go White Sox over Cubs in Chi-Town, the recognition of Big Hurt, and the forgotten glory of the 2005 Championship team. He ranks sports titles in the Windy City, discusses the stark differences between Wrigleyville and the South Side, and the current state of the Sox franchise. Ultimately, a White Sox vs. Cubs World Series would mean utter greatness for the people of Chicago, greater than the Subway Series of 2000.

Pennant Chases, Kids, and Women in Baseball (8/29/18) – Podcast

Audio

Coach and Tucker discuss the pennant chases for the stretch run of the MLB Season. The Nationals are a franchise in need of group therapy, where the Dodgers are falling off thanks to a banged up bullpen. Coming on strong, who are these Tampa Bay Rays?? Here come the terrifying Cardinals, because Matheny getting fired is the greatest addition (He may have cost them a championship or two).  There’s a real team of ballplayers on the 2018 Oakland Athletics, most importantly, they could just overtake the AL West. Coming into home, there are big problems with Acuna getting hit, while Coach remembers Drysdale vs. Mathews in the 60s. There is much love for the Little League World Series, but where is the love for the Women’s Baseball World Cup?
